Looks great..I love the white one:-)Lately have been dreaming of one solitary chair against a weather-beaten wall..this one seems to fit in that picture ;-)
Thanks for sharing!
Hi Arch! I like the white also! Love your idea.:)
Your blog is wonderful! I'll definitely be back for some more inspiration!
This is a classically beautiful piece, but very fresh! I'd love 1 or 8!
I like it - I would like to see a graphic design on the cushion, maybe a black and white print. I could even see a bright French print on it. My problem is I have a hard time knowing when enough is enough. How is the kitchen coming along? Maybe you would rather not talk about it? I can't remember if I told you this, but we did a big kitchen addition 2 years ago. We added a kitchen and family room and made the old kitchen a bathroom. We set up a temporary kitchen in our basement so we could stay in the house. I was very pregnant at the time. It actually helped because there was not a man working that wanted to take me to the hospital - they were actually done ahead of time. I feel your pain.
Heather
Hello Sanctuary. Thanks for the visit and the kind words. Come back again!
Hi Anne! A little different for West Elm, no? I like it alot!
Hi Heather!
Well the kitchen is coming along. It has been a long process! We dug out a basement, so between the engineering of floor joists and foundation work, we knew it would take a long time, but we have been without a kitchen and using a camp stove for over a year! We do dishes in a sink out in our detached garage, so collect them in a tub to take out once a day. We have a temp kitchen set-up in our dinng room which is right off the Living Room, so no guests besides understanding close family and friends, for over a year! But enough of that. We look forward to ALOT more space very shortly that will be wonderful!
I love that chair--especially in white!
I don't know if you've heard of this blogger tagging "game" but I have "tagged" you to continue on, should you choose to go along with it. (If you have done this before or just have no interest, please don't feel this is something you need to do--it's just for fun!)
Here are the "rules":
Players list 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, players then tag 8 people by posting their names and makes sure they know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment at the tagee’s blog.
Here is my post of 8 facts/habits for reference:

I like the white one, and I agree that it would look great with a graphic print cushion. I don't think you could get tired of that chair :)
Hi Laura! Thanks for visiting and the tag!I will refer you to my July 24 post :"It's all about ME" for my 8 things. I am going to check your blog for your 8 things! :)
Hi POC! I agree, the white! And maybe the tree of life print from my sidebar pick would be fun!
Just recently found your blog, and am beginning to dig it. Keep up the blogging!!!
To me, this was the standout piece from the West Elm catalog....I am glad to read that I am not alone in thinking this!
Hi Sarah! I agree!!!!
My daughter redecorated her room all in West Elm and Ikea. The West Elm pieces are first rate quality wise and so inexpensive. I love this new style on the chairs. It's a great company. Doesn't Pottery Barn own them?
Joni
Hi Joni!
Yes, West Elm is owned by William Sonoma, who also owns Pottery Barn. I have also purchased from West Elm and have been very happy with the quality! I am waiting to unveil my new West Elm white lacquer Parson's table for my office as soon as it is ready.
I had been wondering about the quality of the West Elm upholstered furniture. Glad to know that it is so good. I love their stuff and only wish they had a store here in Marrakech.
Katie, yes a stellar design!
Hello Maryam! I hope you know that they ship through the internet. There is no store in Sacramento either, but not sure of shipping to Marrakech!

Hi Courtney! I agree!
Oh I am so happy to see your post on this chair. I actually ordered 2 of them in white and they look fantastic in person....except for the cushion. It doesn't even fit! I was planning on having it customized but figured if I ordered the one it came with, it would be a breeze to re-cover. Any suggestions? I thought of just doing an aqua canvas b/c I wanted to order two slipcovered chairs as anchors. But I can't settle on fabrics! For now I sit on cheese ball cushions.....
Hello Kelly!
Thanks for the visit! I am glad to hear the chair is great, but sad to hear about the cushions. Whoever is recovering them for you should easily be able to modify them to fit better, as long as they have the chair itself also. Good luck with your fabric choices! Sounds great.:)
All design are really great and wonderfull but the one which really amazed me is white and brown design.
Ryan
